Mikado Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar Inc first opened in 2005 in the Karns Plaza on the Carlisle Pike, as a Hibachi and sushi restaurant, offering made to order sushi, sashimi, rolls, etc. and table side cooking (Hibachi).


In 2012, we moved to the current location.

Mikado began as a Hibachi and sushi restaurant, offering made to order sushi, sashimi, rolls, etc. and table side cooking (Hibachi), serving the finest filet mignon, NY strip, Scallops, salmon, chicken, and shrimp.


Hibachi is known for it’s fun, interactive experience – and where many choose to celebrate birthdays and special occasions


With new management in recent years, the has been renovated to bring a new and exciting dining experience to the area. We are the first in the are to offer Korean HOT POT and BBQ where customers can order from the menu, pick their pot style (seafood, salmon, vegan etc), pick their broth, and noodles, as well as select protein choices to BBQ that you grill table side while enjoying company and conversation.
